Regional Trainings

The National Affiliate Council (NAC) is the representative body of the network to the National Board and the National Office.  Each regional representative holds two face to face gatherings annually for the affiliates in their designated area.  A dedicated portion of each of these meetings is on regional training and development.   These trainings are delivered by either the regional representative, a member of the national staff traveling to the event or an external facilitator.  These regional trainings are designed to promote the exchange of ideas, best practices, and cooperative learning.  The content is designed to address the solutions for some of the most pressing issues facing the region and how the local affiliates can best deal with the unique challenges in servicing those in the most need.
