Michael Liu since 2014, has led the Public Housing and Community Development Department of Miami-Dade County, the sixth largest public housing agency in the country and the largest housing organization in Florida with an annual budget of $500 million, a portfolio consisting of over 50,000 units under various federal (public housing; Section 8) and state programs. His career includes service as U.S. HUD Assistant Secretary for Public and Indian Housing; USDA Deputy Under Secretary for Small Community and Rural Development; SVP Dutko/Grayling; SVP and Community Investment Officer Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago; VP Bank of America (FSB); and member of Hawaii’s State House and Senate. He is a graduate of Stanford University and the University of Hawaii’s Richardson School of Law.
