Vice President, National Programs and Impact Measurement

Melissa Stutzbach, OTR, ECHM serves as Vice President of National Programs and Impact Measurement at Rebuilding Together. In her role, Melissa oversees the development and impact of Rebuilding Together’s core programmatic framework which includes home repairs and modifications, community revitalization, disaster readiness and recovery and women empowerment through home repairs. As an occupational therapist, she views housing as one of the most significant social determinants of health and works to position Rebuilding Together as a solution to improve health outcomes.

Prior to this role, she spent many years working on evidence-based practice and business operations initiatives for the American Occupational Therapy Association, a community partner of Rebuilding Together. While receiving her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Ithaca College, she started an intergenerational friendly visiting program in partnership with the local office of aging called Project Generations. Developing this community partnership program was a transformational experience and sparked her interest in nonprofit management and aging-in-place solutions.
