Lowe’s Customers Raise Millions at Register to Support Safe, Healthy Housing
Rounding up your purchase to the nearest dollar at checkout may seem like a small gesture to support a charity but multiply the generosity of customers nationwide by several months and the impact is tremendous. Lowe’s in-store customers demonstrated just that during the home improvement retailer’s latest Round Up for Charity initiative. Those small gifts collectively generated more than $1.4 million to support Rebuilding Together’s mission to repair homes and revitalize communities.
Lowe’s housing partners Rebuilding Together, Habitat for Humanity and Sleep in Heavenly Peace participated in this latest point-of-sale campaign, which ended on May 3. Lowe’s customers have now donated more than $6 million to Rebuilding Together through Round Up for Charity.

These gifts are an important source of funding for our organization, helping strengthen our ability to serve our mission of preserving safe and healthy homes. It is just one example of the many ways Lowe’s has been a dedicated partner in our movement of neighbors helping neighbors for more than 18 years.
Thank you, Lowe’s, for raising awareness of the critical need for home repairs, and Lowe’s customers for your generosity.
