Sarah Snyder, Executive Director
Rebuilding Together Henry County
Sarah Snyder is the Executive Director of Rebuilding Together Henry County, a non-profit affiliate organization in rural Illinois that provides free home repair and accessibility modifications for low-income neighbors, particularly seniors, veterans, families with children and individuals with disabilities.
Sarah holds a Master of Social Work from Aurora University (1999) and a Bachelor of Social Work from Western Illinois University (1997). She joined Rebuilding Together Henry County in March of 2011. In addition, Sarah received an Executive Certificate from the University of Southern California in Home Modifications from their School of Gerontology (2018). Prior to Rebuilding Together Henry County, Sarah worked as a School Social Worker with the Southern Will County Cooperative for Special Education for five years before taking an eight-year career break to focus on her family. In the past 14 years with Rebuilding Together Henry County, Sarah has significantly expanded the service area and programs, reaching the most vulnerable populations in Henry County, Illinois.
